FINAL TRANSACTIONS OF 2018

As the last day of the year,i have some Dividend Money left over in my accounts and i ended up Buying the following shares .

12/31 3 shares of T at 28.5

12/17 1 share of  T at 30.00

12/13 1 share of T at 29.86

12/11 1 share of MO at 54.51

 

All these will add $15.4 to my fund.

Dividend increases

In last few weeks ,some of the companies in my account announced dividend hikes.

VFC increased it dividend from 0.46 to 0.51 and i have 52 shares so this will increase my dividend by $10.45

DIS announced their dividend hike from 1.68 to 1.76  and this increase my dividend by 3.38

HRL  upped their dividend  from 0.75 to 0.84 and this increased my dividend by 4.176

AMGN announced  dividend hike  from 1.32 to 1.45 and this increased my dividend by 13.15 dollars

DE increased their dividend by 10% from .69 to .76 ,this add another $7 to the fund.

 

 

All 3 increased my dividends by $38.

 

November Dividend Report

This is the second last of the year.This month 12 companies paid me  and AAPL/T being the biggest Payers.

This month i received $283.3  from my companies.

4  Shares of T at 30.90 on 11/7

2 Shares of MO at $57 on 11/16.

These 2 transactions will add $14.60 in Dividends to my annual Funds.

October Dividend Report

Wow Month 10 is in books  and this month the indexes  fluctuated a lot.

I received dividend form 13 Companies  with STWD  my biggest Payout at $68.74.

Total  dividends received for this month are at $205.51.

This month fund rise almost paid payment for Q3 and i received another $37.87 from them bringing the whole total to 243.38

Dividend Hike V ,VFC and Buy MMM

Recent weeks with the market fluctuations i  missed my dividend Hikes received in the last few days.

First one is VFC  which increased its dividend from 0.46 to 0.51 an increase of 11%. I have 52 shares so this increase my dividend $10.4.

Second Increase  is V  which increase its dividend from 0.21 to 0.25  and i have a total of 25 shares and this will add another $4 to my account.

I added 1 more share of MMM to my account at $185.86 and this will add $5 .4 .

All these actions adding close to $20 to annual fund.

 

Funfact : This is my 100th post on the blog.

 

 

Buys ----ITM,T,MMM

During the last 3 days when market was down,i decided to average down few of my stocks.I  could have gotten better price,we cant time the market.

1 MMM at $204.84

1 ITW at 134.30

2 T  at 32.08

These all will add another $13.44 to my annual Fund.

September Dividend Report

Finally Month 9 is in books and it seems time is flying off .Now we are coming into last 3 months of the Year.This time of year i love it. This  Month i received a total of $1120 across all my accounts  and second time this year that i has crossed 4 digits.I could have been little higher but i readjusted my retirement account.



My top3  Dividend payers  from stocks for this month are BBL,JNJ, RDSB.

Compared to previous year it went by 20% .

So how did you guys do this month.

Final Buys of the Month : STWD,T,VTR

I added few more shares of the following companies in different accounts.

I added 24 shares of STWD at 21.60  for $518.52 adding $46 to my account.I did this before the ex day so would get dividend next month.

I added 3 shares of T at 33.39  for a total of $100.17 adding  $6  to my account.

Added 1 share of VTR at $54  and adding $3.16 to my account.

 

All these actions added $55 to my annual dividend Fund.

 

Speculative Buys & Sells -TLRY&NBEV

Out of my normal pattern this week i have bought and sold 2 different stocks for small gain. This was me testing the waters of day trading . This week everyone was watching TLRY. I have been watching TLRY since it was at $40, Using my robinhood account i just bought 2 shares of TLRY at $208.99 and sold them at $228.02 ,if i had little more patience on that day i would have gained few more bucks.

Other one i bought and sold is NBEV on 9/20 .I bought 73 shares of NBEV at $ 6.84 and sold them at @ 7.27 for a gain of 30 Bucks.

So in overall 2 days i did make it to positive territory .

 

 

New Buy -IRM

This week added 5  shares of IRM at 36.98 including the fees. Now i reinvesting all my dividends into their respective shares. This new purchase will add another $11.74 to my fund and i made the purchase right before the ex dividend of 9/14 and this will pay me on 10/2. This is a new position for me.

BUY & Dividend Increases

This last week i added 6 shares of T  at 32.13 for a Total of 192.77. This will add another $12 to my annual Fund .I considered adding MO,maybe in next few days.

Two of the stocks in my portfolio announced dividend Hikes.

BBL  went from 1.1 to 1.26 and i have 63 shares  in my account.This Will add additional $20 in my account.

VZ also announced   quarterly dividend by 2.1% to 60.25 cents a share. I have 27 shares of  VZ and this will increase my fund $1.35

Overall all this actions added  $33 to my Fund.

 

August Dividend Report

Month 8 is in books already and we can feel the change in weather.

This month 14 Companies paid me . With  T and AAPL as the biggest Contributors to my  this month Dividend Income.

I received a Total of $277.7

Compared to last year August my Dividend income went up by $75 and 35% increase.

Buy -ITW

I added 3 more shares of ITW in my account . This will Bring my total to 5 shares.

3 Shares at $135.76  for a total of 407.28. This will add $12 to my annual Fund.

This month has been slow.

Recent 401K Buys and ITW

Here are some of the Buys Happened in my Account this month . I tried to rebalance mt 401k a little bit better.

 



 

This morning I bought 2 shares of ITW at 136.61 in my robinhood account.This is a new Position for me,will be waiting to add more to it ,when new capital is available. This will add Another $8 to my account.

 

 

JULY DIVIDENDS

Month number 7 is on books and  it's our favorite time of the month ,when we share the previous months dividends. This Month i was paid by 16 Companies.

This month i received a total of $372.86 in my accounts.

Compared to my previous year this is an increase of 57%.



Overall  Dividends for last  5 years  . Need to work on improving August and October Months the income in those months is low.



 

Compared to last month  my Networth went by 3%.

Recent Buys -T & MMM

With price reduction in T, i added 6 more shares of it to my account.

07/19/18 Bought  1 share of T  at an average price of $31.65 .

07/26/18 Bought  6 shares of T  at an average price of $30.53 . This will add another $12 to my annual Fund.

07/26/18 Bought  1 share of MMM at an average price of $207.47. This is a new position  and  i was waiting for long time to initiate a position in 3M.This will add $5.44 to my fund.

So these New purchases will add another $19.44 to my annual Fund.

I will keep an eye on MMM to add if it reduces in price further.

 

Dividend Raises -HSY,WFC

Two of the stocks in my dividend Portfolio announced increases.

HSY raised dividend by 10% from 0.656 to $0.722 . I have 30 shares and this will add another $8 to my annual fund .

WFC raised its dividend  by 10.3% also and from 0.39 to 0.43 . So this increase my annual fund by another $12 ,as i own 76 shares of WFC.

Good to see additional $20 in dividend increases .Its like adding 10 shares of T or investing 300 dollars.

 

 

 

Fundrise Dividend Payout & BUY STWD

This week i received my dividend payout from Fund rise. I received $34.62 into my account and  Compared to April Payout i received an increase of $1.4.



Also i dripped STWD dividend and  got 2 shares from that dividend. This will add another $3.92 to my annual fund.

 

JULY BUY I -PRU

With new Quarter started ,i tried to max my roth ira and with today's funds ,i maxed the contribution.I was trying to find stocks to  invest the funds, Lot of Names  were considered like ED,XCEL,FAST and finally decided to buy PRU. I saw the buy on one other DGI blogger .

After some reading  i initiated  position in this company.This is a new position for me .

I picked up 16 shares of PRU at 95.39 including the commision of 4.95 for a total of $1526.17. Currently yield is 3.77   . This will add another $57.6 to my annual Fund.

 

 

June Dividend Report

Month 6 is in books and Half year is gone. This month  has been a record for me .For the first Time  since i started Tracking  my dividend income , i never got 2K in a month.

Thing to remember is now i started combining all the dividends received.

Over 25 Companies  have paid dividend  to me this month. The total Received this month is $2035.

Since last month i started DRIPPING all dividends into their stocks in all accounts.



 

So overall it has been a good Month  and i see the fruits of the last few years .Dividends are slowly rolling in without lot of new Funds.

Compared to 2017  you can see dividends increased by 40%. I think mostly the increase came from new funds and some of it from increases in existing stocks.



 

My biggest Dividend payer for this month is Rergx with $894.

I hope our Dividend Community  have big numbers for this Month.

JUNE BUY IV ---NLY

This month is seeing a lot of action in my account . For this Buy no New Funds were added.All the dividends collected in last few months in this account are used to Buy  the stock.

23 Shares of NLY at the rate of 10.65 and 4.95 in commision. This will add another $27.6 to my account.

 

 

BUY -SBUX

This month of June is becoming a busy month for me with new funds investing and  quite a bit of Buy activity.With SBUX dropping more than 10% ,i bought  23 shares of SBUX  to reduce average cost of the share.It was not big position in my account .Earlier i had 26 shares of SBUX at average price of $57.22 .

23 shares at $51.2 for a total of 1179. SBUX recently increased their dividend from 0.30 to 0.36  for an increase of 20%. With the New purchase i will add another $33.12 to my Annual Fund.

I have noticed one other dividend investor loading up on SBUX.

 

 

Recent Purchases T,MSFT,JNJ

With the news of ATT merger approval ,we saw ATT dropped down significantly and this created some buying opportunity and I decided to add few more shares of T into my account . I added 15 shares of T into my account .You might noticed i keep adding T into my account.

15 shares at 32.41 for total of 486.15. This will add another 30 dollars to my annual dividend Fund.

TGT Dividend Increase

TGT Announced dividend hike of 3.2% from $0.62 to $0.64  .This increase will add another $1.16 to my annual fund.Nice to see increases.It looks like this is the 47th year of dividend increases for Target.

 

Recent Buys T,PG

If you have noticed recently ,most of my funds are being diverted to 401K.I am still adding shares from Drip and some addition of funds.

In last few days i bought  following shares .

3 Shares of T at average of $33.3  .This will add $6 to my annual Fund.

1 Share of PG at average of $73.94 and this already my average price and will add another $2.84

Overall without new funds,i was able to use my dividends and add another $8.84 For the annual Fund.

May Dividend Report

Once again the favorite time of the month when we start to report the previous months dividend reports. 13 Companies have paid me dividends in the month of May.

With the completion of this month i have $1992 in dividends so far this includes both retirements and regular accounts. For the first time my projections for Annual Dividend income crossed 8K. Lets see where  we end the year.



Compared to May 17 this year i am up by 21%  .



My top 3 Dividend Payers for this month are AAPL,T,CAT with 56% contribution to my monthly dividend income.

May 401K Purchases

I am still contributing to 401k ,even though i am not providing updates  regularly.Most of the times its  still the same Funds  that i keep buying . Maybe  in third quarter i will look to see if i need to change  the distribution of the Funds. For the Month of May here is the distribution of my Funds.

In my regular accounts i am mostly dripping from Dividends and  adding small amounts of Funds.

With the Purchase of House i am trying to conserve the funds .

Shipt Grocery Delivery Review

One of the things for me is to try new things/Gadgets/services and when there is an enticing offer available then i will almost try it.

Since i have Amex card ,there was amex offer of spend $100 or more on Shipt and
get $50 back,its almost 50% off groceries. I had this on 2 other cards .
Now coming to the Shipt they are Grocery delivery service and currently they are deliver from few stores only one of them is Target and the other is Kroger at least in my Zip Code.

As with any delivery service they have membership fees of $99 for Year or they Have monthly membership. When i signed up there was 2 week free trial and it was good.
Now coming to prices we observed on some of them like Milk,it was almost same price as store price and few others like diapers,eggs etc were price little above. You cant use any coupons or anything on the order.But Other Thing is there are some offers like spend $30 on certain items and get $10 credit for next purchase.


Ordering is simple you need to have a total of $35 for free delivery even with Membership. You get to pick the hours and from the 3 or so orders i did i had groceries delivered almost in 2 hours.

This will work better for people who want to have groceries delivered almost immediately.As for me i like to shop and use coupons to save dollars,so i may not use it Much.

Recent Buy -PEP

For long time i was thinking of buying PEP and now its in price range to buy.

I bought 11 shares of PEP on 5/7.

11 shares at 99.24 =$1091.

This was brought in my IRA account.

This add $40 to the Annual Fund.

May Buys -AT&T(T)&GILD

Market being so volatile presented so many buying opportunities.I have decided to average down on AT&T stock,and so I bought 18 shares of ATT @32.80 for a total for $590. with i will have 102 shares of T in my account.
This will add another $36 to my annual fund.


Another average down i did was on Gild,bought 2 shares of GILD at 67.13

This will add another $4.56 to my annual Fund.

KMB,PG are on my list of Stocks .
PG I already own some shares at higher price ,maybe time to average them down.
KMB has been on my radar for long time,looking for entry position into it.

April Dividend Income

Month 4 is in Books and almost 1/3 of the year is Gone.
This Month 14 Companies Paid me Dividends.
I have received a total of $264.42 of Dividend Income.This includes $33 received from Fundrise.

April Purchases

This month is the Tax Month ,for the first time in longtime i ended up owing taxes to Uncle SAM.
I am still continuing to contribute to 401k ,but i reduced the amount as i bought the house so i am just waiting to see expenses ,i will check in few months again to see what i could about it .



Besides these i bought 1 VZ at 47.56 and 1 SO at 44.40.

March Dividend Income

Its almost 5 days after the month end. Time to report the dividends received in march .I received dividends from 35 companies.Since this year i started reporting combined dividends from retirement accounts also.

There was some buys happened in this month Also.

April 2nd BUY -T

On 4/2 i added 5 more shares of ATT(T) at $35/share.This will add another $10 to my annual Fund.

Q1 Final Buy -AGNC

Just before the end of the Quarter i added few more share of AGNC in my account.
This yield rate is very high 11.42% I added 17 shares of AGNC.
This will add another $36.72 in my annual fund.These shares were brought by dividends accumulated in the rollover account.

As this a monthly Dividend payer and with my existing shares i will add half a share each month.
I will keep it that way for now.

Recent Investment --D

I picked Up D Again this is the second time i am buying.Now i can average my price down . Currently this is has been down since i bought.Also this is the pick of the DGI community now.

I picked up 12 shares of D at 68.09 for a total of 817.11 ,with this the total number of shares in D went to 22 and now my average price went down from $78.22 to $72.69 . This will add another $40 to my annual dividend fund.

2 shares of VTR @ 48.75 this will give me a dividend of 6.32.This is the first purchase in my new Tdameritrade account,as scottrade merged with them.So i was given 20 Free trades for 2 months.

Recent Buy --CVS

I have been watching CVS for Few days and now that it went almost 3 years low price,i decided to average down my earlier prize from 72 to lower.
So this morning i bought 6 shares of CVS for $380.74 .This will add another $12 to my annual dividend Fund.
This bought My average price to to $67.82.Now total shares i own is 10.

March 401K Purchases

I have made following Purchases in with my last 1 paystub. I have increased my contribution percentage,so that i can max out Quickly.

February Dividend Report

Month 2 is in books and this was a busy month for me.I finally closed my first house and became a home owner and got Mortgage. 13 Companies paid me dividend this month to me. Total Dividends received this month are $249.27.
Compared to 2017 Feb it increased by 21%.
some of the increase in dividends is from companies raising dividends.

March BUY- AFL

Month of March started with a Buy for me.I purchased AFL .I made this purchase in IRA account.I don't have a insurance stock in My portfolio. I have been waiting to buy for sometime and now the stock is about to split 2:1 I decided to buy it.And possibly my first limit order purchase.

10 shares of AFL at 88.00 for a total of 880 and 4.95 in commission.

This will add $20 to my annual Dividend fund.

Finally closed my First House

After signing for house construction in April 2017 and it was finally closed on 2/26.It was supposed to be closed earlier last week, but it was delayed as I didn't receive my final CD.
This is the first house we bought.We are Excited and Nervous as hell .
We did a simple housewarming afterwards.

This was reason why I was not aggressive in investing in stocks.I was holding it for down payment.Still few things pending like move utilities and getting communications to house.

My first Mortage payment will be on April 1st .

I have made following Purchases in with my last 2 paystubs. I have increased my contribution percentage,so that i can max out Quickly.

PABGX: 1.851 share @102.4 will add close to 4.8 dollars in dividend.

VSIAX: 6.59 shares @ 56.62 will add another $ 5 in dividends.

VTMGX: 38 shares @14.60 will add another $15.18 in dividends.


A total of 1875 invested in 401k and it will result in $37 dividends to Annual Fund.

I bought 2 shares of SO at 43.9 . With this purchase total shares i own for so went to 33 and this will add another $4.64 to my account.

There have been few more dividend increases announced for some of the stocks i own.

CSCO from 0.29 to 0.33 since i have 56 shares this will add another $8.96 to my annual Fund.

KO announced dividend Hike from 0.37 to 0.39 and I own 22 KO Shares ,this will add another 1.76 to Dividend Fund.

UNP went up from 0.665 to 0.73 and with me Owning 48 shares ,this will add another $12.48 to my fund.

GILD is went up from 0.52 to 0.57 and i have 32 shares adding another $6.4 to fund .


So all dividend increases will add $29.6 to my annual fund with out any new Funds .

2018 January Dividend Report

Month 1 of new year is gone and stock market is still trending up.
This month 11 companies paid me divided.This year onward i decided to include my retirement accounts also in the report.


So i received $225.33 dollars this month.In addition i also received $43.19 from Fundrise for a total $268.52.

Jan 2018 401K Buys

These are purchases in my retirement account and taxable account.

VFIAX:  .9 Shares at $258.89 will add close to 4 dollars in dividend

PABGX: 0.76  share @101.9  will add close to 40 cents in dividend.

VIMAX: 0.39 Shares @ 198.94 will add around 1 dollars in dividends.

VSIAX:  2.6 shares @ 58.62  will add another $ 2.5 in dividends.

VTMGX: 15.5 shares @15.10 will add another $6 in  dividends.

A total of 770 dollars was invested this  period in 401K .

2018 GOALS

Its little late,but i want to set my Goals for 2018.
These are not just financial goals.I am including Some other Development Goals.
One of My top Priority is Getting in Shape.As part of this i am including physical Goals.

GYM: 120 workouts
Last year in November as part of Groupon deal i started going to Gym,I did 12 Workouts in 2 months.This Year i am planning to get to 10 Workouts a Month.
My Fitbit Average for last year is 5.8K steps a day,would like to Bump it up to 9K steps a day.


Investment : Maxout Both 401k and Roth IRA.
Last year i was able to max out Roth IRA,but came up short on 401K due to Calculation issues. It will be interesting this year ,as i will be closing my house next month Hopefully.Still trying to MaxOut.


Courses: Finish a Course from open course or coursera. I will be picking up the course soon .I would like to invest in myself and maybe if posisbl

Dividends : I am setting up a Goal of 9K Dividends in All my accounts.Starting from this year i will include my Retirement Accounts Also.If i include all Accounts in 2017 i was at 7.3K in dividends.

Website Views: In 2017 i was able to attract close 5K total Views.Maybe we will double it this year.

Fundrise Dividend

Finally i received my Fundrise dividend for Q4.I invested in 4 eReits close to 2k.This time instead of dripping i will invest this dividend in Reit like AGNC or VTR.

First Buy -D

New year started and i had my first purchase in Roth IRA. This year will be interesting and tough ,as i will be closing my house and not sure how much extra expenses will come. So with that out of the way the stock i purchased is getting popular in dividend world recently.Desiguy Finance and the broke dividend investor all bought the stock.
