2021 June Dividend Report

 Q2 Completed and now i am ready with another monthly dividend report. This one surprised me as  one of my funds payed me a huge dividend.  This month i received total dividends of $2250.84,Big reason  for  this is payment from RERGX, last year  and this quarter they paid negligible dividends .Another reason for my confusion is  RERGX split the payment as capital gain, but most websites are reporting as dividend.

Comparing with 2020 June  this is a big gain due to Rergx,but we had other increases in dividend payees.

Comparing to 2020 June  i had 3 dividend reductions  with WFC being big cut of $45.

2021 Dividend Goal: With the unexpected payment from RERGX, I am at 50.5% of my goal of 11k.For month of July special dividend payment from Trow should also help.

2019 Final 401K Buys

Here the recent purchases made in 401k account ,that should bring me  close to the Maxing out this year.

I  added 8.6  shares of VIMAX a 5 star rated on Morningstar  which adds another $24 In dividends to the Fund.

21 shares of VTMGX ,this will add another $7 to annual fund.

Also my spouse started part time work  like 10 hours a week ,they offer 401k ,but no match ,still i enrolled in it and this added another 4.5  Shares of VLCAX.

Added 1 more share of GILD in my robin hood account with dividends received from GILD today and others.

401K Buys

As mentioned before my company was bought by Another company,that had better      401k  Plan.It was almost 3 months they since they stopped deduction due to merger and integration . Finally it was ready for us to contribute ,one benefit is  3% Match  which i didn't have in my previous company.

So i wanted to my max out my 401k  contribution for 2019  and decided to aggressively contribute to the new plan and try to catch up the lost 3 months. With that in my mind  and contribution made to old plan i  will max out if i plan correctly.

For  the first i own shares in the company that is going to manage my 401k plan.

so here are my new purchases i made  in the new plan,some of the existing names i have in my account.



 

So i added 11 shares of VIMAX a 5 star rated on Morningstar  which adds another $32 In dividends to the Fund.

Another addition is 37 shares of VTMGX and this add another $12 dividends to my Fund.

 

Now i have to rollover my old 401k ,i am thinking of either moving it into Vanguard directly or Merrill Edge they have nice promotions if you rollover 401k.

Anyone had experiences with either of them please share in comments.

I have made following Purchases in with my last 2 paystubs. I have increased my contribution percentage,so that i can max out Quickly.

VFIAX: 2.22 Shares at $253.89 will add close to 9.77 dollars in dividend

PABGX: 1.851 share @102.4 will add close to 4.8 dollars in dividend.

VIMAX: 1 Share @ 194.4 will add around 2.58 dollars in dividends.

VSIAX: 6.59 shares @ 56.62 will add another $ 5 in dividends.

VTMGX: 38 shares @14.60 will add another $15.18 in dividends.


A total of 1875 invested in 401k and it will result in $37 dividends to Annual Fund.

These are purchases in my retirement account and taxable account.

VFIAX:  .98 Shares at $239.03 will add close to 4 dollars in dividend

PABGX: 0.81  share @96.28  will add close to 40 cents in dividend.

VIMAX: 0.42 Shares @ 186.42 will add around 1 dollars in dividends.

VSIAX:  2.82 shares @ 55.46  will add another $ 2.5 in dividends.

VTMGX: 16.6 shares @14.12 will add another $6 in  dividends.

A total of 750 dollars was invested this  period in 401K .

This almost final full investment and next  paycheck will be smaller buys,due to maxing out.

This will add a total of $14 to my annual Fund.

These are purchases in my retirement account and taxable account.with the market going up the amount shares purchased each pay period is going down slightly.

PABGX: 0.84  share @92.31 will add close to 40 cents in dividend.

VIMAX: 0.425 Shares @ 183.69 will add around 1.2 dollars in dividends.

VSIAX:  2.81 shares @ 55.41  will add another $ 3 in dividends.

VTMGX: 16.7 shares @13.96 will add another $6.2 in  dividends.



A total of 750 dollars was invested this  period.

Getting close to the yearly limit .
This will add another 15 dollars my annual fund.

VTMGX: 17.1 shares @13.65 will add another $6.2 in  dividends.



A total of 750 dollars was invested this  period.

With the price reduction of T,i added a total of 5 shares using my Dividends.

5 Shares of T at a price of $38.42 for a total of 192.11. This will change my total T shares to 50. The newly added shares will add another $9.8 to my annual Dividend.

1.42 Shares of VFIAX at a price of 218.96.

0.45 Shares of VIMAX at a price of 172.37.

7.62 Shares of VSIAX at a price of 51.21.

I added another $625 worth of funds to my retirement account.
I initiated a position in a new Fund managed by Vanguard.

• $250 worth of VFIAX at 220.69.


• $312.50 Worth of  VSIAX at 52.72


• $62.50 worth of VIMAX at  173.91.

These all purchases will add another $16 to my annual fund.
