2022 December Dividend Report

 This is the final Report for Year 2022 and this month i received $3200 and with this i was able to cross my goal of $14k in Dividends. This is a new record  for a single month ,first time i crossed 3000 in single month.

Compared to 2021 Dividends Biggest increase in dividends received is from HD it went from $6 to $54,as  i have been adding HD in 2022.

Since i started tracking dividends , total dividends received by me are $69912 . This helped me cross my 2022 Goal of 14K in dividends .

Overall it was Good year for dividends for me.

2022 June Dividends

 Q2 is in books and june month is done .I have received $2152  in dividends. This is $100 less than Q2 2021.

One of the reason dividends  are less  compared to 2021 is the payout from RERGX fund,last year it contributed  close to $850 and this year its $63.Now I rebalanced  the position,still the  dividends are less.Excluding RERGX,I had good increases and with special dividend from LYB.

2022 Dividend Goal:

My goal for this year was 14000 in dividends  and I am at 46% of the goal.This seems to be interesting  as half of the year completed and I am 46%. Need a bumper second half of the year to make it.

2021 June Dividend Report

 Q2 Completed and now i am ready with another monthly dividend report. This one surprised me as  one of my funds payed me a huge dividend.  This month i received total dividends of $2250.84,Big reason  for  this is payment from RERGX, last year  and this quarter they paid negligible dividends .Another reason for my confusion is  RERGX split the payment as capital gain, but most websites are reporting as dividend.

Comparing with 2020 June  this is a big gain due to Rergx,but we had other increases in dividend payees.

Comparing to 2020 June  i had 3 dividend reductions  with WFC being big cut of $45.

2021 Dividend Goal: With the unexpected payment from RERGX, I am at 50.5% of my goal of 11k.For month of July special dividend payment from Trow should also help.

2021 March Dividend Report

March is also in Books and with that Q1 is completed. I have received $1506 in Dividends. This is like receiving $48 in dividends every day of march.  This is all time high for Month of the March. Some of the payers added in last few months are showing the impact. 

Some of my Biggest Payers this month is BBL,DFS,MMM,JNJ. 

Compared to my 2020 March, this has grown 27%. Overall 2021 Q1 is up 17% compared to 2020 Q1.

2021 Goal:  With this month Dividends I am  at 21% of the goal  of 11k in dividends this year.

 Personal News: Got both the doses of vaccine and i am another week for post 3 weeks completion of Vaccine . Personally didn't have much side affects or pain except on the day of vaccine.

Recent Purchases --ABBV,LMT,GILD

 Slowly I have been deploying some cash to my dividend payee stocks.

I have picked ABBV,LMT and GILD in my account. In  last month i have deployed around $730  to add almost 5 shares of ABBV and 2 shares of GILD.

This added another $35 in dividends to my account.

What are you Guys adding since the Market is presenting some chances to add stocks.

Dividend Buys

 This month has ben slow  for Dividend Purchases and these are the following Purchases made by me.

 All of them are my  existing positions and slowly adding them.

BA is currently the non dividend Payee ,But I have been adding and averaging down my average. Initially it was 398 and now I got it down to 244.

Dividend Buys are total of $460 and this will add another $15 to my dividends.

2020 December Dividends

 2020 is in books , one of the most unexpected years at least in my generation. Now coming to dividends i had a high hopes for December, but it turned out anticlimactic .I received less dividends this year compared to last December and it was significant.

One of the reason for significant reduction was very small distribution from RERGX one of my biggest funds .In 2019 I received more than 1300 in dividends and distribution from them.

Overall Dividends received were $1677,This is 38% decrease from 2019.But overall dividends compared to 2019 went by $10. This Year my goal was to get 11k in dividends and I achieved 82% of the goal. This year i will raise the goal to 12k Dividends. It will be very interesting to see where I will land.

Overall with all the things considered I  am ok with where things ended.

Dividend Increases

 So Early  this year many dividend cuts, I stopped following the increases in early june  as they were very few here and there in my portfolio. Now almost at the end of the year, I went back  till June to check how many increases i had how much impact it had on my account.

So i had 11 increases in my account adding up to $75 to my dividends. ABBV had the biggest impact.

Overall this year I  had $173 added in dividend increases  for my account. My portfolio yield is around 2.2%  This mean like new capital like 7k in capital.
